MISSION STATEMENT
We strive for elimination of poverty in the midst of plenty in Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Stonewall and Throckmorton Counties, Texas by opening to socially and economically disadvantaged households the opportunity for educational programs, employment services, hunger relief, and utility assistance in collaboration with other social service agencies in our area while providing the opportunity to live in decency and dignity with economic self-sufficiency.
Emergency Assistance Processing Delays
Due to the overwhelming response for emergency assistance, the processing time will take longer than usual. Please continue paying your bill and make payment arrangements with your Utility Provider as needed so that your services are not disconnected. You will be notified when the DMOS staff has processed your application.
